Empowering Our Team: CJB Electrical’s Training on Diagnosing Basic Electrical Issues

Queen Anne’s Gate, January 14, 2025 – At 10:00 AM on Tuesday, Colin Buckley, owner of CJB Electrical, delivered an insightful presentation aimed at equipping our CJ service team with the knowledge to safely and effectively identify basic electrical issues. This session emphasized the importance of accurate observation and communication with licensed electricians, ensuring they arrive on-site fully prepared with the necessary materials to resolve any problems efficiently.

Held at Queen Anne’s Gate, the session also featured virtual participation from CJB Electrical employees across Massachusetts, making it a comprehensive educational experience for all involved.

During the training, Buckley showcased essential tools and techniques for determining whether electricity is live in wires, fixtures, and outlets. He stressed the critical importance of safety, advising attendees against attempting to change fixtures, switches, or outlets without first ensuring that power to the area has been properly shut off.

“This session isn't about encouraging our team to perform repairs they might not be comfortable with,” Buckley explained. “It's about ensuring safety and fostering clear communication. When electricians receive detailed information in advance, they can work more efficiently and safely, reducing both costs and downtime.”

Participants praised the session for its practical and informative approach. One attendee noted, “Colin’s advice on diagnosing and reporting electrical issues will save us time and help us prioritize safety.”

This event highlighted the crucial role of collaboration between property managers, maintenance staff, and licensed electricians in maintaining the safety and functionality of electrical systems in our communities.
