What You Will Do
You will handle the hands on work that keeps a property safe, clean, and running:
Complete resident service requests, with a standard one business day turnaround
Turn vacant apartments and complete make ready work within seven days of move out
Perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, masonry, roofing, and fencing
Respond to emergency repairs and assist with snow removal
Run preventative maintenance schedules for the building, site, and equipment
Conduct move in, move out, and annual unit inspections
Manage inventory, track supply pricing, and help keep costs down
Partner with the leasing office so vacant units get back online fast
Document work orders, inspections, purchase orders, and invoices accurately
What You Bring
High school diploma or GED
At least one year of related maintenance experience or training
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
Certified Pool Operator certification if applicable to the property
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to communicate clearly in English
Willingness to work overtime and respond to emergencies
Physical Requirements
This is an active role. You will be on your feet, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, and working both indoors and outdoors in all weather. You will regularly lift and carry items up to 75 pounds, and occasionally up to 150 pounds with assistance.
