Ocean Edge Resort Owners Make Major Donation to Habitat for Humanity

Michael Corcoran and Gary Jennison, principals of Corcoran Jennison Companies and owners of the esteemed Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club in Brewster, Massachusetts, have made a significant contribution of $50,000 to Habitat for Humanity Cape Cod. This generous donation will support the construction of two three-bedroom homes on Phoebe Way in Brewster.

The homes, located off Red Top Road, include Habitat for Humanity Cape Cod's first Veteran's Build, designed to provide affordable housing for a family of four, as well as a residence for a Cape Cod Hospital nurse and her family of four.

Corcoran and Jennison made the donation in response to the charitable land parcel donation by Beth Finch, a Brewster resident and property owner.

"We are overjoyed to receive this generous support from Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club," said Wendy Cullinan, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod. "This is a great example of how the community can work together to help Cape Cod families build and purchase an affordable home of their own."

Bob Newman, Chief Executive Officer of Corcoran Jennison Hospitality and General Manager of Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club, expressed support for the initiative, continuing the resort's commitment to community outreach and giving back to the local area.

Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod is dedicated to ensuring long-term affordability for all its homes, which are energy-efficient and deed-restricted. The non-profit organization has several additional builds planned in the near future, including projects in Yarmouth, Marstons Mills, and Falmouth.
